The LEP is a Switch-a-Slot clone + a LittlePower adapter, in one for the Apple II+, IIe line.  It fits inside the Apple case in the area the power supply occupies.  You remove the power supply and replace it with the LEP, install your ATX powersupply, atach power plug to motherboard, connect ribbon cable from LEP to BussTap, and you are ready to go.

Here is pictured the first LEP installed in an Apple IIe. (notice the DoubleSeven installed)

Now the Apple has 10 internal slots for you to populate.
