Thanks to the Japan Post, the parts to finish the Apple IIgs Laptop prototype did not arrive for Kfest 2010 and are now considered to be officially lost.

This is not the end for this project, just a big hurdle to overcome.

I have updated this site with some new items and new ways to make them yours.

I have been putting a lot of work in the new Laptop Project, in fact it has kept me from working on my own projects. Next post I will explain most of the custom parts I have designed for it.

Well, it has been a while since I did an update here, but I have been busy on a multitude of several projects.

Some I will reveal, some will have to wait for Kfest 2010.

Been working with Bill Martens on the new Apple IIgs Laptop Project. Looks to be the best thing since sliced bread.

The BussTap has been redesigned and soon the BussTap 2 (BT2) will be available to all.

The LittllePower for the IIgs has been sold out for a couple of months now, but a new order is in the works.

Another great time was had by all. There were a lot of new products that came out this year. We finally have a VGA option for the Apple II. Vince Briel gave us a sneak peek of an upcoming project. SuperDrive and EDD+ cards are being produced again.

I have got the mobile platform done for my Apple IIgs based Robot. I will be transferring the computer off the test platform and on to it’s new base.

On a other note, The computer club I am in has been working with the Arduino chip. There are so many options in using it to interface just about anything to anything. So don’t be surprised if GS-ONE does not end up using at least one of these chips. Oh, the posibilities!!

TEC Bench-Top Power Supply

I have joined a new local electronics club, the Tulsa Electronics Club.
One of our first projects is a bench-top power supply. This is a very simple/inexpensive design out of a computer power supply. The design is to provide you with the very basic voltages needed, and we will be adding more options to it at a later date.

Mini Kfest 08.4

Last weekend I took a pilgrimage to the Apple II MECCA in the heartland. I helped Sean Fahey set up his Retro Apple II Office / Playroom, and once again got to dig around in the rarest of rare Apple II Hardware. True Geek Heaven.
I am still working out a few things with the site move. So if it don’t work, It soon will.

I have just completed moving my entire site to a new host.

I almost have everything back to normal, just a few more tweaks here and there to go.

For those of you that know me, I was interested in doing either a Apple II VGA or an Accelerator for my Kfest 09 project. But seeing how both of these projects are currently being worked on by others, it has forced me to change direction on my next big project.

I am currently finishing up several projects, LittlePower IIc+, LittleExpanderPlus, ExtendaSlot, and the DClock clone. The first two will be available in the Store by the end of the year.

I might even get back to the Apple IIGS laptop in the next few weeks.
